When: Friday, June 8th, 10:30AM - 2:00PM
Who: Dreams For Kids DC is partnering with the Washington Redskins & Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation to bring together professional football players and our DFKDC children for our seventh adaptive football clinic! This event will be open to children with physical and developmental disabilities aged 4 - 24 years old.
WHAT: Thanks to the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation, we are blessed to have this event in conjunction with a Redskins Rookie Community Club event! Redskins Rookies will assist in instructing/coaching the children, while also empowering them to achieve their dreams. The clinic will consist of various outdoor football drills, pep talks, lunch, and autographs. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity for you and your child. Volunteers are needed as well to guide and bond with the children and give them a sense of camaraderie and mentorship!
HOW: Please register above as a child participant, parent or volunteer -- please input most relevant contact information for us to reach you. This is an inclusive event, siblings of children with disabilities may sign up as participants. **ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE A PARENT/REGISTER ON SITE AT ALL TIMES, ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER WITH A PARENT/REGISTER**
VOLUNTEERS: Must be at least age 15 or over and have been a previous Dreams For Kids DC volunteer; those who register who are not first time volunteers must email Glenda Fu at GFU | Dreamsforkids ! org first. Volunteers - please note, we will have a mandatory volunteer training by phone leading up to the clinic. Please remember that we are not liable for lost or missing items so please keep all of your personal belongings on you at all times or stored somewhere safely. We want volunteers who will be enthusiastic and encourage our DFKDC kids - only register if you are ready to be a committed and engaged volunteer.
**As always - we are looking for as much support as possible to provide these programs to our children. Please donate whatever you can in Optional Donation to keep DFKDC events alive! Remember a $25 donation allows ONE child to attend one clinic FOR FREE**
