Plan for the morning

10:00 Arrival and greeting by a colleague from the Royal Observatory. Programme for the morning and a chance to network.

10.15.10.45 An opportunity to have a look around the astronomy centre galleries.

10:50 – 11:30 Annual business meeting.

11:40 – 12:20  Led by one of our colleagues from the museum, this CPD session will highlight the learning opportunities the Royal Observatory can offer teachers. 

The session will finish in plenty of time to allow you to get to the planetarium for the show if you have chosen to book one.

12:30 to 1:00 Planetarium show (you will be able to book this at a later date).

1:00 End of visit

We are able to offer this as a free event to members due to the generosity of the observatory in providing the venue and the organisers/presenters for donating their time.
