Galvanise Brighton & Hove is a community-led campaign bringing local people together to end rough sleeping. The ultimate aim is that no-one has the need to sleep rough in the city.

Connections Week is back and we need your help!

What is Connections Week?

At the end of 2017, we engaged a wide range of volunteers across Brighton and Hove to take part in a week of local action bringing together the local community, those sleeping on the streets and those working in homelessness organisations. Known as Connections Week, the aim was to make sure rough sleepers were spoken to about their story, situation and aspirations for the future to ensure services and support truly reflects the needs of homeless people.

Why are you doing it again?

The aim of the evening is to mobilise people for Connections Week and aid recruitment - we will talk about what we'd like to achieve and the process to get us there!

Running another event gives us an opportunity to talk to rough sleepers and check that our aims are aligned with theirs. It will also allow us to benchmark data from 2017 to highlight areas that need further improvement and help raise their voices to make lasting change.

How can I help?

Come along! We can't run Connections Week without you and you can pledge your support at the evening to make sure you're involved in the week.

When will Connections Week 2019 be?

This is still TBC, but we anticipate this taking place between 13-16 October 2019.

Please RSVP to let us know you’re coming and we look forward to seeing you there!
