Marcel Dettmann returns to Room One. As an in-demand DJ, acclaimed producer and label founder, Dettmann’s name is now synonymous with a raw and unrelenting style of techno. Arguably best known as one of the key residents at Berghain, his Herculian-length sets have made him a household name both within and beyond the mythicized Berlin venue. Joining him in Room One is another of the Ostgut camp's staple artists as Anthony Parasole brings his toughened techno sound to the space. Finally making a return to round off the Room One bill are Meat Free duo, Blasha & Allatt.
In Room Two, Shed lands. An acclaimed producer operating under a string of guises, René Pawlowitz has one of the most highly-prized back catalogues in contemporary techno. Typically as Shed his records take in atmospheric breakbeats, while as a DJ he blends this sound with another of his loves, UK hardcore. He’s joined by Headless Horseman, whose eponymous white label series has been the key outlet for his abrasive style of techno. He presents his industrialist take on the genre with a live performance. Also joining is Sunil Sharpe, the deep-digging techno selector and flagbearer for Ireland’s scene. EBM expert Faux Naif also makes a return to Room Two to round off the bill.
