We just re-scheduled the next HoGL Hub - come join us to feel and spread the love for humanity!
In this time of increasing division, let's come back together again to be entertained, comforted and inspired, share our stories, and have heartful conversations with strangers we might never normally meet.
There’ll be faith-in-humanity-restoring films, a HoGLs exhibition, storytelling and poetry, live music, a bbq in the garden and cocktails served by singing waiters. There’ll also be empowering talks, a Human Library of HoGL Books to 'read', and bands to get you dancing after dark.
It’s a non-profit event but with tickets as there’s limited capacity so we need to know numbers, and we're raising enouch money to pay for the musicians and exhibition. On the Eventbrite page, linked to from our Facebook page, you can buy super-cheap early-bird tickets for £3.50 right now (they'll be going up as the date approaches) or, if you're feeling abundant, you can become a HoGL patron by buying them here with a £25 donation.
If you can commit to coming to this one, do buy your Eventbrite ticket(s) soon to reserve your place, and if you use Facebook, hit the Event's ‘Going’ button there, and recommend it to your friends. That’ll encourage more lovely humans to come and share the fun.
This relaunch ‘Autumn’ Hub will be at the community-focussed Aeronaut pub in Acton again, because previous Hubs there have been magical, it’s a known quantity, it’s laid-back and funky, colourful and family-friendly, with accessible entrance and lavatory facilities, and allows pets too.
It’s been 2 years since we held the last one (where does the time go?) but the burnt-down Aeronaut is now rebuilt and, since I moved to Hastings last summer, the HoGL team has been steadily growing. So we’re back on track to have seasonal Hubs from now onwards, each one in a different corner of Greater London, which means, if you can’t join us for this one, or it’s too far for you to come, you can always pick another.
We'll hope to see you there!
