This summer, The Nest Collective invites you to discover extraordinary music around the campfire.

Every week from May to September, we gather in beautiful green spaces under city skylines and listen to amazing music by artists from all over the world.

We come together in the simple way that people have done for thousands of years, around the fire with food, drink, music and each other. The performances are unamplified, allowing you to get up close and personal and hear the artists’ music in a very intimate way.

Limited £120 season tickets are available here

Alice Zawadzki

Alice Zawadzki is a vocalist, violinist, songwriter and composer based in London. Her work as a performer, collaborator, composer and speaker, has seen her gain considerable repute as “a genuine original” (The Guardian), and a distinctive and individual presence on the creative European music scene.

Anglo-Polish Alice’s rich musical background and “whimsical hyper-creativity” (MOJO Magazine) converge into artistry which draws upon her early exposure to New Orleans jazz and gospel with the legendary Lillian Boutté who took a teenage Alice under her wing, an extensive classical training as a violinist, and a continuous exploration of improvisation, poetry, and folk music from diverse traditions, “all propelled in a voice of velvet suppleness and gutsy emotional power” (The Arts Desk).

She performs extensively as both a soloist and as a collaborator, with headline performances at major international venues and festivals. She also performs and collaborates at underground venues in the London scene and on unexpected platforms, with a keenness to nourish music at its roots, and to support inclusive community-wide music making.

Her striking ability to perform across and transcend genres whilst retaining her own expressive and intelligent musical style gives her a unique accessibility, and her distinctive voice can be heard on numerous film and television scores. She also performs live as soloist with Prague Philharmonic, Kansai Philharmonic, Osaka Symphony, Tokyo Philharmonic, Moscow City Symphony Orchestra, and the St Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra.

Hazel Iris

This Californian songstress celebrates the art of storytelling with a dark and playful attitude to writing music. Hazel Iris' sound blends crystalline vocals with folk, traditional instruments and a twist of magic. As a classically trained singer, she studied her craft in Germany. Fusing the formats of romantic Lieder with a touch of Vaudeville and Indie irony, her songs celebrate the art of storytelling which gives them a theatrical and cinematic feel.

Find her debut EP, Misfortunate Tales, on iTunes and Spotify now.
