Join us for our monthly night in the museum - much like an evening school trip, this event is really a social gathering for a group of teachers and others with a common interest in STEM and/or Computing education (5-18 years) organised within a public event. By joining our group, you'll be able to indulge your interests and passion, forge friendships with others, as well as gaining inspiration, ideas & resources for activities to use in your own school or community.

This month's Science Museum theme:  Measurement: The digitising of the Kilogram

4.00-6.45pm Optional pre-meet & eat in South Kensington - details will be sent in the days before

6.45-7.00pm Meet & greet in the Energy Cafe (Level 0, next to the gift shop) this is where we'll meet briefly, before heading up to Teacher Zone at 7.00pm. The cafe is located on the ground floor next to the Science Museum gift shop. We'll have some #exabits signs on the tables to help you find us.

7.00pm-9pm Teacher Zone: Taking place once each term, this offers a special programme of events and activities for teachers until 9.00pm that often includes complimentary drinks and nibbles. We have already pre-booked some tickets for you to save you having to register separately.

9.00-9.45pm Departure - the Science Museum remains open until 9.45pm, but choose to leave around 9pm or earlier, particularly when it's a school day the following day. So stay for as little or long as you wish.

Important: This is an 18+ only event, independently organised by Alan O'Donohoe of exa.foundation and friends. As such, our event is neither organised, nor endorsed by the Science Museum. There is often a lengthy queue outside on Exhibition Road before the doors open at 6.45pm.

Please support the work of the Science Museum: You can make a donation here, at the entrance when you arrive, or purchase items from the gift shops or cafes during the evening to support the work of the Science Museum.
