This event was created to help brands understand the opportunities within emerging technologies like sonic branding, AI chatbots & voice technology and how to practically implement these into your strategy to drive new acquisition and customer engagement.


Rebecca Elson, Assistant Producer @ BBC

Rebecca Elson is a Creative Producer at BBC Voice + AI and had been a member of the innovation team since its inception. She uses her editorial experience to develop cutting edge, experimental voice first formats to engage the BBC’s diverse audiences on emerging Voice platforms.

Rebecca began her career at the BBC in production, working on flagship TV programmes including Blue Peter and Artsnight before moving into Radio. Here she was an Assistant Producer on 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq show and delivered the Radio 2 Breakfast Show’s short story writing competition 500 Words, the largest competition of its kind in the world.

Ben Tan, Creative Technologist @ Google

Ben has been coding since the age of 11 and has had over 14 years experience working in Technology & Innovation, and has spent the last 2 years working as a Creative Technologist at Google ZOO.

Ben has worked on numerous projects across various technologies including; John Lewis - Moz The Monster, Tomb Raider - Escape Room, Clinique iD - Conversational Ad and Warner Bros. - LEGO Movie 2 - Emmet Vision. At the ZOO, he is often in design sprints with clients and agencies inspiring them with Google tech and coming up with creative ideas with innovative twists.

Mel Vasseur, Head of Digital @ RNLI

Mel has worked in the Digital industry for over 10 years, spending the last 3 at the national charity, RNLI who save lives at sea. Mel played an instrumental role in the creation and implementation of RNLI's google action which engages users with the live events, donations and information on the charity. 

Adam Greenwood, CEO @ Greenwood Campbell

In 2009, Adam co-founded digital agency Greenwood Campbell, and has led the agency to deliver award winning digital solutions for some of the largest organisations in the UK including Dixons, Ted Baker and RNLI.

Considered by many as a futurist and thought leader on emerging technology, Artificial Intelligence and the capabilities of the new digital world, Adam works with a passion and drive which was recognised in 2016 with a place on the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) top 100.
