Saturday Player Development Centre:

We operate 3 Saturday programmes: – Leyton Active Minis & Wildcats from the age of 3 – 6 years, Leyton Active Juniors & Wildcats for girls aged 7 to 11  and Leyton Active Seniors for secondary aged children aged 11 to 17 years.

During the football season, new players wishing to join AFC Leyton should attend the Saturday morning development sessions.  From there, players can move to both the Development or League Teams outside of our annual trials.  If you are joining AFC Leyton at the end of season or moving from another club to AFC Leyton, new players can attend our new player trial sessions and/or attend the development sessions for assessment.

The first 2 sessions are completely free!  After that monthly payments are required from as little as £16 per month cancel anytime.    These are fun sessions, that have a good balance of skills training and exercise and are open to girls aged between 3 to 17 year

About the Sessions

About Leyton Active

Girls who are at secondary school and aged between 11 and 17 years should attend the “Leyton Active” Sessions. Developed specifically for older girls, the sessions are an opportunity to get fit, make new friends and learn good football skills.

No need to buy any kit.  Just make sure they’re in clothes they can run around in and sports shoes/trainers/football boots (preferred).

Sessions will continue despite the British weather.  So, during the autumn and winter, if it’s raining or cold we recommend the girls wear gloves, thermals and a suitable waterproof coat.

Who should attend?

Beginners to girls with moderate football skills are welcome to attend these sessions.  These are drop in sessions and no commitment is required.

Talented players are able to move from these sessions to the Development and League Teams.

iCause.com promotes public events for free and helps event organizers connect with nonprofits to attract more participants like you.
