Learn how to use Cycling 74's Max 8 software to compose and perform original musical compositions, and create sonic, audiovisual and interactive sound art. Students will gain the skills to create and customise Max “patches”, understand the basics of digital audio signal processing, and develop the skills to modify and customise existing patches.

This course is for composers, artists, educators, performers, dancers, anyone that wants to get to grips with the Max environment.

This is a ten week programme taking place from Thursday 2 May - Thurs 4 July with a reading week on the 30th May 2019.

Classes are two hours long every Thursday from 7.00-9.00pm
