If you find yourself dwelling on the past or worrying about the future, then treating yourself to an hour in ‘now’ could be just what you need.

MindFood are offering free 60 minute sessions to explore different ways to be Mindful in Nature - with guided meditations, mindful walks, nature-based creativity and gentle gardening. Ideal if you’re looking to tackle stress, depression or anxiety in a natural way - or simply want to try a new approach to nurturing your wellbeing.

An important part of mindfulness is reconnecting to our senses in the present moment. We passionately believe that spending time in nature is the perfect place to practice mindfulness, noticing the smells, sounds, tastes and textures of the natural environment. Mindfulness is also recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) as a way to prevent and treat depression and anxiety.

MindFood's new twice weekly sessions are a space where you can come to practice mindfulness in nature with other like minded people.

- The sessions will run for 60 to 90 minutes on Thursday mornings at Horsenden Hill in Ealing (UB6 7PB)

- Each session will have a different mindful focus such as mindful walks, gardening, drawing and photography.

- Participants are welcome to join these sessions regularly or as and when you need a mindfulness fix.
