**This event is open to London HPMA Academy Members only**

An interactive workshop exploring how we might approach designing and developing integrated health and care systems.

Through case studies and their own experiences participants will create design principles, explore how governance can be designed, and apply key system design tools including Tricordant’s Strategic Patient Centred Pathway Framework. Applying Polarity Management e.g. between sovereign organisational priorities and the wider purpose of the whole care economy participants will understand how to balance the inherent tensions in a whole care economy.

Aim: .Equip participants to understand how to approach whole system design.

Enable participants to develop:

A clear understanding of the importance of designing around people and place not organisational processes, or functions

Realisation that seamless integrated care must be observed from the patients’ perspective

Understanding the importance of value creation for both the individual organisation and the collective

Understanding the importance of co-design and why engaging those affected will deliver great results that are owned by organisational leaders

Increased experience and capability through applying key tools to case studies and participants own challenges

Increased confidence to influence leaders and senior stakeholders

Increased confidence in managing tensions to develop effective partnerships

Target audience:

Senior HR & OD professionals who are supporting design & development of integrated health & care systems. Places are limited to 20 people, so HPMA reserves the right to cancel places if necessary to allow for a range of organisations to participate and to prioritise those who are currently involved in this area of work or will be in the near future.

Limited pre-reading and identification of a real life case
