Real Voices Vauxhall brings you Winter Warmers.

Once a week on a Wednesday evening you'll find us tucked away in a quaint hall in Vauxhall, singing our hearts out and having a good old time. Asides from how great if feels (and sounds!) to sing with others, we really benefit from a couple of hours spent connecting with others and simply having some time out amidst fast paced city life. Like anything, it's quite easy to take this feeling of community for granted after a while and that's why we're raising money for South London Cares, a local charity who bring people of different generations together to reduce loneliness and isolation.

We promise you an uplifting evening of spine-tingling music. You'll be immersed in the sound of 50 singers and a live band performing covers of artists such as Laura Mvula, Kate Bush and The Killers. You'll recognise some of the music and hopefully we'll introduce you to something you've not heard before. There will of course be a handful of seasonal favourites to get you in the Christmas spirit, and to help the festive mood along further we'll have mulled wine a-plenty on offer for cash donations.

We do love our beautiful South London churches. In March this year we had a fantastic concert just across the river in the beautiful St Gabriel's Church, Pimlico. This time we're happy to be even closer to home in the stunning St Peter's Church. If you haven't been before, you're in for an absolute treat.

Profits from the event will go to South London Cares: a community network of young professionals and older neighbours hanging out and helping one another in our rapidly changing city. They do this because London is a place of extremes. While our capital is one of the most dynamic places in the world, it can also be anonymous, lonely and isolating. Their three main aims are:

to reduce isolation and loneliness amongst older people and young professionals alike.

Improve the connection, confidence, skills, resilience and power of all participants so neighbours can feel part of our changing city rather than left behind by it.

Bring people together to reduce the gaps across social, generational, digital, cultural and attitudinal divides.

We look forward to seeing you there!
